Letter to Parents

Dear Parents & Students,

We hope you are all doing well.

Please be informed that the school will remain closed for the half-term break from February 18 to February 21, 2025. Regular lessons will resume on Monday, February 24, 2025, inshallah.

Postponement of Activities:

Due to health and safety concerns, we had to cancel the Hag Al Laila celebrations on Friday, February 14, 2025, and the Cultural Day on Monday, February 17, 2025. The revised date for Cultural Day will be shared soon. These measures have been taken to ensure the well-being of our students and their families, in compliance with school protocols and regulatory guidelines.

Close contact notifications have been sent to affected students. However, due to the urgency and thorough tracing process, there may be instances where important notifications are sent beyond the recommended timings. We appreciate your understanding and patience in such situations.

Our Health & Safety team is actively monitoring the situation and taking all necessary precautions. For any health and safety inquiries, please contact safety@elsvptdubai.com.

Ramadan School Timings

Based on parental feedback, the school will operate from 7:20 AM to 12:20 PM during Ramadan 2025. Bus schedules, pick-up/drop-off times, and own transport dispersal will be adjusted accordingly. Please refer to the link for Ramadan Bell Timings.

Please be reminded that during the Holy Month:

The school gates will open at 06:55 AM as staff are not scheduled to arrive before this time, and there will be no supervision available earlier.
If your child is picked up from school, kindly ensure timely collection, as all staff will leave shortly after dismissal due to Ramadan.
The latest pickup time for your child from the school premises is 12:45 PM. After this time, staff will no longer be available on-site.

Board Exam Registration

Students in Years 10, 11, 12 & 13 must register for the summer examinations by February 28, 2025. The Cambridge subject registration deadline is February 21, 2025.

Admissions for 2025-2026

Admissions for the 2025-2026 academic year will commence on March 3, 2025. The registration form, admission policy, and relevant details will be available on our school website: www.elspvtdubai.com.

Support Lessons for Board Classes

To support students preparing for board exams, the school has arranged additional lessons for Years 11, 12 & 13 based on recent confidence surveys. These lessons will be held from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, February 18-21, 2025.

Second Term Fee Reminder:

The second term fee has been due since December 2024. Parents/guardians who have not yet made the payment are kindly reminded to settle their dues using the available payment methods.
