Dress Code and Haircut Campaign
Starting Monday, January 27, 2025, we will be conducting a campaign to monitor students’ adherence to the school’s Dress Code and Haircut policies. This initiative aims to promote discipline, maintain uniformity and encourage students to take pride in their appearance.
Introducing the ‘Best in Uniform’ Badge
To further motivate students and recognise their efforts, we are pleased to introduce the 'Best in Uniform' badges as part of this campaign.
Students who consistently follow the uniform guidelines and maintain an immaculate appearance will be awarded the 'Best in Uniform' badge. This recognition serves as a token of appreciation for their diligence and pride in adhering to the school’s dress code standards.
We kindly request your support in ensuring that your child attends school every day in a tidy and well-groomed uniform. Together, we can reinforce discipline, foster a sense of pride, and create a positive, respectful school environment.
Attendance Policy
We extend our heartfelt gratitude for your invaluable cooperation in fostering improved attendance across the school. To ensure continued success in this area, we kindly remind you of the following:
· According to school policy, attendance below 94% is deemed unacceptable.
· Unapproved absences are strongly discouraged, and all leave requests must be supported by relevant documentation.
In recognition of students who demonstrate exemplary attendance, we are delighted to introduce certificates of appreciation as part of our initiative to encourage regular attendance. These certificates will be awarded as follows:
· Weekly: Attendance Star Award (Digital Certificate)
· Fortnightly: Steadfast Scholar Award (Digital Certificate)
· Monthly: Attendance Excellence Award (Digital Certificate)
We urge you to motivate your child to prioritise regular school attendance, as it plays a pivotal role in their academic success and personal growth. Together, let us cultivate a culture of commitment and excellence in our school community.
School Timings:
We would like to remind the school timings:
· Start Time: The school day begins promptly at 7:20 AM. Please ensure that your child arrives on time, as the gates will be closed at 7:40 AM.
· Dispersal Time:
FS2: 12:00 PM
Year 1 and 2: 1:30 PM
Year 3 onwards: 1:45 PM
Punctuality is a vital life skill that fosters discipline and time management in students.
Arriving on time ensures that your child starts his day without missing important lessons or instructions, helping him remain focused and organised. By being punctual, students learn the value of responsibility and respect for others’ time, setting the foundation for future success.
Short Leave Policy: Short leave will not be entertained after 12:00 PM and will only be granted for valid reasons, such as a doctor’s appointment. Supporting documents or proof of the appointment must be provided.
We kindly request your cooperation in adhering to these timings and guidelines to ensure smooth school operations.
Resumption of Congregational Prayers
Alhamdulillah, we are pleased to inform you that the school has resumed congregational prayers for students. Year 10 and Year 11 students have already started participating this week. Other year groups will be gradually included as per the schedule.
