Welcome Letter to Parents 2025-2026

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We are delighted to welcome you and your children to the start of another exciting school year at English Language Private School. We hope you enjoyed a restful summer break and are ready for a year filled with learning, growth, and new opportunities.

Classes for Years 2 to 13 will begin on Monday, August 25, 2025, while FS2 and Year 1 students will start on Monday, September 1, 2025. To help ensure a smooth start, please take note of the following important points:

Distribution of Books & Uniform:

1. Plan Ahead for Traffic
   The first few weeks of the academic year can bring heavier-than-usual traffic. Please plan your journey to ensure students arrive before the start of the school day. Punctual arrivals help students settle in and start the day positively.

2. Arrival & Dispersal
   School begins at 7:20 a.m. and ends at 1:45 p.m.

3. Timetables
   Timetables will be available at EduPage Timetable. Students and parents can log in via the website or EduPage App for personalized schedules, including subjects, teachers, and classrooms.

4. Attendance & Punctuality

• Arrive before 7:20 a.m. to ensure a prompt start.

• The school ID lanyards must be worn at all times by all students. The colours of the lanyards will indicate the mode of transportation, as follows:

• Own Transport: Green
• Metro: Red
• School Transportation: Yellow
• Parents are kindly requested to purchase the above-mentioned lanyards for their children at their own before the start of the academic term to ensure compliance with this requirement.

• IDs must be scanned both at arrival and departure for accurate attendance and safety monitoring.

5. For New Admissions
   If your child is newly enrolled, please contact aftab@elspvtdubai.com to receive login details for our learning platforms (Century, Tasheeh, MyOn, K-12, EduPage, etc.).

6. Mobile Phones
   Mobile phones are not permitted in classrooms to maintain focus and a distraction-free learning environment.

7. Healthy Start to the Day
   A nutritious breakfast supports better concentration and energy levels. We encourage all students to start their day with a healthy meal.

8. School Uniform and Grooming

• Students must be in a full, immaculate, and smartly pressed school uniform, and must wear proper shoes from the first day of the academic term.
• Immaculate grooming and appropriate haircuts are essential in upholding the school’s standards.

9. Responsible Internet & Social Media Use
   Please remind your child about online safety, privacy, and respectful behaviour on social media.

12. Parents Orientation
    We will hold online Parents Orientations on Saturday, August 23, 2025 & Sunday, August 24,2025 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Links will be shared in respective class groups.
