The Arabic and Islam Department at English Language Private School hosted a special Appreciation Ceremony for the Top Readers on the Tasheeh Platform on Monday, 17 June, bringing together students, parents, and staff to celebrate a shared commitment to Arabic reading and Islamic values.
The event took place in the PEA Auditorium from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, highlighting the achievements of students who demonstrated outstanding dedication to Arabic language development through the Tasheeh platform.

The programme was hosted by Mr. Mahmoud Taha, Arabic Teacher, and Ms. Sarah, English Teacher, who warmly welcomed all attendees.
The ceremony opened with a Qur’an recitation by Youssef Al Sayed (Grade 7A), followed by a Hadith recitation by Ali Mohamed (Grade 6B).
A delightful Arabic poetry presentation showcased two students reciting classical verses, celebrating the richness and beauty of the Arabic language.
A heartfelt Teacher Appreciation Segment acknowledged the contributions of Arabic and Islamic Studies teachers for their continuous efforts in promoting language excellence.
The proudest moment was the Student Appreciation Ceremony, where top performers on the Tasheeh platform were honoured for their exceptional reading achievements.
The event also featured a Leadership Recognition, extending gratitude to the School Principal for unwavering support towards Arabic and Islamic Education at ELPS.
The programme concluded with closing remarks and a group photo to capture the memorable occasion.
This initiative reflects the school’s ongoing commitment to fostering Arabic language proficiency, Islamic values, and student excellence in a supportive and inclusive environment.
