On 1 October 2026, ELPS students took learning beyond the classroom through their participation in the Food Hero – Generation Green Training, held in collaboration with MySchoolFood and Bustanica Farm.
Students explored sustainable approaches to food production through hands-on activities involving hydroponics and aquaponics. They also participated in interactive quizzes on food safety, nutrition and sustainability, before putting their learning into practice by creating their own balanced diet plates. 🥗🌿

🏅 The occasion was made even more special as ELPS received an Honorary Shield recognising the school as a Food Champion Green School, reflecting our continued commitment to promoting healthy choices, environmental awareness and sustainable practices within our school community.
Experiences such as these help our students understand the important connections between food, health, the environment and a sustainable future, while developing the knowledge and attitudes needed to make responsible choices.
