ELPS Students Win Mazameer Aal Dawood Competition

English Language Private School is proud to celebrate the outstanding achievement of two of its students who were declared winners in the prestigious 6th Mazameer Aal Dawood Competition, which brought together 303 participants from 30 schools.

Continuing its tradition of excellence in Islamic education, ELPS was represented by 26 students from different year groups. Following a rigorous evaluation conducted by distinguished Qurra and competition organisers, two ELPS students emerged among the winners:

🏆 ELPS Winners

  • Muhammad Muaaz (11E)
  • Hassebullah (11B)

The winners were honoured at a special recognition ceremony held on 11 June 2026 at City Towers, Sharjah, under the patronage of Sheikh Salah Bukhatir, Chairman of Al BEM Schools and Owner of the American School of Creative Science.

As part of the ceremony, both students had the privilege of reciting selected verses from the Holy Qur’an in the presence of Sheikh Salah Bukhatir. Their beautiful recitation and exemplary performance received high praise and appreciation from those in attendance.

In recognition of this remarkable accomplishment, the students were also honoured at ELPS by Principal Mr Muhammad Atif, alongside Vice Principals Mrs Jaspal Kaur and Mrs Wajeeha Aamir, in the presence of members of the Islamic Education Department. Certificates and commemorative shields were presented to both the students and their guiding teachers in appreciation of their dedication and achievement.

This success reflects ELPS’s continued commitment to nurturing students who excel academically, spiritually, and morally, while fostering a deep appreciation for the teachings and values of the Holy Qur’an.

We congratulate Muhammad Muaaz and Hassebullah on this distinguished achievement and pray that Allah (SWT) continues to bless them with knowledge, wisdom, and a lifelong connection with the Holy Qur’an.

“And recite the Qur’an with measured recitation.”
(Surah Al-Muzzammil 73:4)
