Dear Parents and Guardians,

Welcome to the 2026–27 academic year at English Language Private School, Dubai. We hope our students and families have enjoyed a restful summer break and are ready for a positive, successful start to the new school year.

This back-to-school update includes the key dates, timings, registration requirements, transport information, fee reminders, digital platform details and important contacts parents need before students return to campus.

Please note that students will return in phases:

• Years 2 to 13: Classes begin on Monday, August 31, 2026
• FS2 & Year 1: Classes begin on Monday, September 7, 2026

Registration: 7:20 a.m. | Last Lesson Ends: 2:15 p.m.

Parents are requested to read the information below carefully and complete any pending requirements before the relevant start date.

1. School Reopening, Timings, Arrival & Dispersal

The school will reopen for students according to the following schedule:

Registration begins at 7:20 a.m., and the last lesson ends at 2:15 p.m.

Students should arrive early enough to be ready for Registration at 7:20 a.m. Traffic is usually heavier during the first few weeks of the academic year, so families are encouraged to plan their journeys in advance.

Detailed Bell Timings and Dispersal Protocols will be shared through the school’s official communication channels. Parents are requested to follow the designated arrival and dispersal arrangements to support a safe, smooth and orderly start and end to each school day.

2. Updated Floor Plan – Primary on the Ground Floor

For the 2026–27 academic year, the school floor plan has been updated to create a more organised and age-appropriate learning environment for Primary students.

All Primary classes from Year 1 to Year 6 will now be located on the Ground Floor.

This arrangement brings the Primary phase together in one dedicated area, supporting easier student movement, closer supervision, smoother arrival and dispersal, and more convenient access for younger students.

Further information about individual classrooms will be provided by the respective teachers and through student timetables.

3. Distribution of Books & Uniform

Parents are strongly encouraged to collect books and uniforms during the scheduled school distribution period from August 24 to 30, 2026.

From Monday, August 31, 2026, books and uniforms will no longer be distributed through the school. Books will be available from the designated bookstore, while uniforms will be available directly from the designated uniform supplier.

4. Parent Orientation

Parent Orientation sessions will be held from Friday, August 28 to Sunday, August 30, 2026.

The schedule, timings, joining details and other relevant information will be shared directly with parents by the respective teachers through the designated class communication channels.

Parents are requested to check class communications regularly and attend the orientation session for their child’s cohort.

5. Timetables & Digital Platforms

Student timetables will be available through EduPage. Students and parents can access personalised schedules, including subjects, teachers and classrooms, through the EduPage website or app.

Parents of newly enrolled students will receive information about access to the school’s digital learning platforms, including Century, Tasheeh, MyON, K-12 and EduPage.

6. Attendance, Punctuality & Student IDs

Regular attendance and punctuality are essential for student learning and progress. Students arriving after 7:20 a.m. will be recorded as late in line with the school’s attendance procedures.

The school ID lanyard must be worn at all times. Lanyard colours indicate each student’s mode of transportation:

• Own Transport: Green
• Metro: Red
• School Transportation: Yellow

Parents are requested to ensure that students have the appropriate lanyard before the start of the academic year.

Student IDs must be scanned on arrival and departure to support accurate attendance records and student safety.

7. School Transport Registration & Route Confirmation

Parents requiring school transportation for the 2026–27 academic year must complete a new transport registration for the academic year. This applies to both existing and newly enrolled students, including students who used school transportation during the previous academic year.

Final Registration Deadline: Friday, August 21, 2026 at 5:00 p.m.

Parents who have not yet registered are requested to complete the transport registration form no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 21, 2026:

All applications received by the deadline will be reviewed by the school. Transport arrangements are subject to route feasibility, available capacity, approved pick-up/drop-off arrangements, completion of applicable requirements and payment of the relevant transport fee.

Submission of the registration form does not constitute confirmation or guarantee of school transport. Parents must not assume that transport will be provided to a particular location, building, community, pick-up point or route unless the arrangement has been reviewed and formally confirmed by the school.

Similarly, previous use of school transport or residence on a route served during the previous academic year does not automatically confirm transportation for 2026–27. All students requiring transport must be registered for the new academic year.

The school will review the registrations received and communicate the approved transport arrangements to the concerned parents before the start of classes.

Requests received after 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 21, 2026 will be considered only subject to route feasibility and available capacity and cannot be assured.

Parents are therefore requested to make the necessary arrangements until they receive formal confirmation of transport from the school.

8. School Uniform, Grooming & Healthy Start

Students must attend school in full, clean and smartly presented school uniform, with appropriate school shoes, from their first day of classes.

Appropriate grooming and haircuts are also expected in accordance with the school’s standards.

From August 31, 2026, uniform purchases and collections will be handled directly through the designated uniform supplier.

Parents are also encouraged to ensure that students begin the school day with a healthy breakfast to support concentration, wellbeing and learning.

9. Mobile Phones & Social Media in School

Mobile phones are not permitted for use in classrooms and must be kept in accordance with the school’s Mobile Phone Policy.

Access to and use of social media is strictly prohibited for all students while at school.

Students are not permitted to access, browse, post, upload, comment, message, livestream or otherwise use social media platforms while on school premises or through school networks or devices.

This applies to all students, regardless of age, and includes platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, Snapchat and other social networking or similar platforms.

Students must not use personal devices, mobile data, VPNs or any other means to bypass the school’s restrictions. Any breach will be addressed in accordance with the school’s behaviour, safeguarding and digital-use procedures.

10. Online Safety & Digital Citizenship

Outside school, parents are requested to ensure that their children’s use of social media and online platforms complies with applicable UAE requirements and age restrictions.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to:

• supervise children’s online activity and use appropriate parental controls and privacy settings;
• discuss cyberbullying, inappropriate content, online strangers and responsible online behaviour;
• protect children’s personal information, photographs, passwords and location data; and
• remind children not to create, post, forward or share harmful, offensive, inappropriate or misleading content.

The school will continue to reinforce online safety, responsible digital citizenship and appropriate use of technology with students.

Regardless of a student’s age or permitted use of social media outside school, social media access and use by students is strictly prohibited at school.

11. A Level Admissions – 2026–27

Admissions to A Level for the 2026–27 academic year are currently open and will continue until Monday, August 31, 2026.

Students and parents interested in joining the school’s A Level programme are encouraged to complete the admission process within the announced period.

12. First Term Fee – Academic Year 2026–27

Parents of all students enrolled for the 2026–27 academic year are requested to ensure that the First Term Fee is paid by Monday, August 31, 2026.

This applies to all enrolled students, including FS2 and Year 1. Parents who have not yet paid the First Term Fee are requested to complete the payment with the Accounts Office by the above date.

13. Outstanding Fees from 2025–26

Parents who have outstanding fees from the 2025–26 academic year are requested to clear all outstanding amounts with the Accounts Office at the earliest and complete the required steps to confirm their child’s registration for 2026–27.

Where outstanding fees from the previous academic year remain unpaid and registration requirements have not been completed, the school cannot assure the continued availability of a seat for the 2026–27 academic year.

14. GCSE & A Level Results – Fee Clearance

GCSE and A Level students with outstanding school fees are requested to clear their dues with the Accounts Office before collecting their examination documentation.

Following fee clearance, students may collect their Provisional Statements of Results from the Assessment Team after presenting:

• the fee payment receipt; and
• the clearance slip issued by the Accounts Office.

Parents and students are encouraged to complete the clearance process promptly to avoid delays in collecting examination documentation.

15. Fee Schedule & Payment Plan – 2026–27

Parents are requested to carefully review the attached Fee Schedule for the 2026–27 academic year.

The schedule provides details of the tuition fee payable for each year group across the three academic terms, together with other applicable annual, programme and assessment charges. It also includes the applicable transport fee schedule.

Parents should check their child’s year group carefully to identify:

• the First, Second and Third Term tuition fee amounts;
• the payment timeline for each term; and
• any additional fees or charges applicable to their child’s year group.

As noted above, parents are requested to ensure that the First Term Fee for 2026–27 is paid by Monday, August 31, 2026.

Parents are strongly encouraged to review the complete Fee Schedule and plan their payments for the academic year according to the stated payment timeline.

16. Academic Leadership & Parent Contacts

To support clear and effective communication with families, parents may contact the relevant Section Coordinator / Head of Section for section-level guidance or support.

For routine classroom, subject, homework or day-to-day matters, parents are encouraged to contact the respective class or subject teacher first. Where further support is required, the relevant section leader may be contacted.

Parents are requested to use the appropriate contact based on their child’s section so that queries can be directed and addressed efficiently.
