We are proud to share that Emily Abdelshahed of Class 7F at English Language Private School has been honoured by KHDA and Erth Dubai for her exceptional storytelling as part of the #ErthDubai initiative — a powerful platform that invites students to reflect on the values, heritage, and identity of the UAE.
Emily’s narrative, rich with emotion and national pride, was selected for its creativity and depth. Her success was celebrated in a special ceremony at the Etihad Museum, following a guided tour that immersed students and guests in the nation’s proud history. As part of her award, Emily received a certificate of excellence along with a AED 2,500 cash prize, recognising her as one of the standout voices in this prestigious initiative.
More than just a competition, #ErthDubai has become a beacon of meaningful expression — empowering students across Dubai, including those at ELPS, to share their vision, connect with the nation’s roots, and celebrate the place they proudly call home.
This remarkable achievement is also a reflection of the dedication and guidance of her teachers at ELPS, whose encouragement and mentorship helped Emily bring her story to life.
