As part of the national effort led by the Ministry of Education (MOE) and the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), English Language Private School is implementing the Drug Prevention Guide in the School Environment and the Parent’s Guide to Drug Prevention under the UAE’s National Program for Drug Prevention (SIRAJ).
This initiative aims to:
Promote awareness among students, parents, and staff about the dangers of narcotics and psychotropic substances.
Strengthen the role of families in protecting children through early detection, communication, and prevention.
Ensure a safe, supportive, and drug-free learning environment across all phases of education.
To support these objectives:
Fortnightly parent awareness sessions are scheduled throughout the academic year to enhance parental understanding and engagement.
A whole-staff awareness session is scheduled in October 2025, focusing on early detection, prevention, and reporting mechanisms within the school environment.
Parents can access the official Parent’s Guide to Drug Prevention through the Parent Portal (EduPage), where the complete document has been published for review.
All parents are requested to read the guide and submit their acknowledgment form available on the portal.
